I'm back from my Boston trip. It was a successful journey. Pete and I did a LOT of walking! We clocked 9 miles and 10 another! We were blessed with beautiful weather. I got some more information for my book, but there's still a lot more investigating to do. While it was great to see my Dad and spend time with him, his condition makes it difficult to get answers to my questions. Besides the Alzheimer's, my father seems to have other psychological issues. At least he's in a safe place...

Traveling

My passion has taken me on the road (and in the air!) a lot lately. Pete and I traveled to Rochester to meet two wonderful authors, Lisa McMann and Holly Black. It was an eye-opening experience, as they chatted extensively about agents, book tours, movie rights  and cover art. Very interesting!

Our next trip will be to Boston, to visit the subject of my latest book... my Dad!!!! Last time we were there, we got caught in a downpour in the middle of our walking tour of the Freedom Trail. Looks ...

New Look!

I am loving the new look of my website! I am learning a lot as I go... experimenting with this and that. I am really proud of myself for having learned the trick of building an email list. Happy Weekend!

I am happy to report that the writing of my new eBook is going well. I have lined up some great interviews with experts in the medical field. I am so lucky for their willingness to share their knowledge with me, free of charge! Actually, the hardest part is writing what I already know, because it involves a lot of uncomfortable memories from my childhood. But sometimes you have to step out of your comfort zone in order to grow.
