For the second year in a row, I am taking part in National Novel Writing Month (www.NaNoWriMo.com). Last year, I failed to meet my goal of penning a 30,000 word novel in a month. It got to the point where I realized the ending was going to be too dark for the age group I was writing for. I have started from scratch, adding more characters and a different setting for my main character, Brandon and his little family. Working title ideas are, The Hungry Monster or FEED ME!... something along those lines. So... you can imagine!

Finding My Father, the ebook I am so proud of, will be a print book in early 2011. If you visit www.findingmyfather.net, read my blog to see how my father's story continues to unfold and intrigue! The book is pretty much writing itself, as the ending is totally out of my hands at this point.

Tomorrow is my final book signing for the year. I'll be in Oneida at the library with a bunch of other authors. I met a couple of children's authors at craft fairs the last couple of weekends and was glad to be a shopper and not a vendor. It has been a busy, tiring year!
