In-Store Appearance This Weekend!

Coming up this weekend, I'll be at one of my favorite places to do book signings... the Burrville Cider Mil! Always a very busy place. I will be joined by fellow authors Marcus Mastin and Dave Shampine. Stop in Saturday (10/15) for cider, donuts and books! We'll be there from 11AM, to 2PM. Hope to see you there!

October!

October is here! My favorite month of the year. :^) I welcomed in the new month with "Barktoberfest" on 10/1, a fundraiser for the Jefferson County SPCA. I have a rare weekend off this Saturday and Sunday (unless I'm called to do a remote for the radio station). Perhaps my husband and I will take a drive to the Adirondacks to see the fall foliage. Halloween is Coming!

I love this time of year! I adore the fall foliage, especially the bright, vivid yellows, as the trees prepare to shed their summer clothing in exchange for the dull nakedness of winter. This all-too-brief, in-between period is nature at its most gorgeous. Add to that, the pumpkins that crop up for sale everywhere from the local farms to the grocery stores, the attraction of the cider mill that is only open for a few short months every year, the aisles of colorful Halloween costumes in every ...

Phone Calls (or lack thereof)

Waiting on phone calls from a bunch of people.... Leslie, my Dad's social worker, confirmation from Downtown Business Association that I definitely have a space at Black River Fall Fest, Burrville Cider Mill re: upcoming Authors' Fair, and so on and so forth. Also entered a couple of contests, and I am hoping to get good news from them. I keep on creating in the meantime, keeping on cranking out what I hope is riveting reading and a future best seller... wish me luck!!
